Your Tasks

Your Qualification

  • Computer scientist (Master’s degree, Bachelor‘s degree, or Dipl.-Ing.)
  • Several years of experience in software development projects
  • Proficiency in Java SE (possibly EE), JNI, JUnit, SWT, Eclipse RCP
  • Knowledge of XML, XSTL, ANT, Maven

Your Qualification

  • BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or equivalent field or proven software engineering experience
  • At least one year of relevant software unit and/or integration testing experience
  • Very good knowledge of the software engineering process especially for V&V activities
  • Proven experience with the test frameworks Google Test and/or Cantata
  • In addition proven experience with the following programing languages: C++, Python
  • Autonomous, structure-oriented way of working with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Very good level of English in both spoken and written

Advantage factors:

  • Certification as ISTQB® Certified Tester – Foundation Level
  • Proven experience in the automotive industry following the ISO 26262
  • Practical experience with continuous integration, versioning control tools, build management in CMake and/or Maven, (embedded) software testing technics and tools

  • Elaboration of Satellite Operational Concepts
  • Satellite Operations execution
  • Development of Ground Systems Concepts
  • Operational Test planning and satellite operations training
  • Production and validation of Flight Procedures
  • Coordination and trade-off requirements for mission with Systems Engineering incorporating operability requirements
  • Flow-down of requirements for Ground Segment & Operations
  • Interface Management to Suppliers, Subcontractors and to the Space Segment Team
  • Production of Operation Handbooks
  • Support engineering of the Spacecraft Simulator
  • Generation of Specifications
  • Support for project proposal generation

Your Qualification

  • Education: A degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences or equivalent
  • Experience: Job experience with satellite operations or similar, ideally 5 years or more is desirable
  • Working language: English; German would be an advantage
  • Other skills: experience and knowledge of DOORS, SCOS, ECSS would be an asset
